Parenting Challenges Workshop Set for Feb. 12

 

          VIERA—A free “Parenting Challenges and Solutions” workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the Eau Gallie High School Auditorium, 1400 Commodore Blvd, Melbourne. The workshop is designed for parents, guardians and grandparents of elementary, middle and high school students.

            Topics for the event cover a range of issues, including name-calling, gossiping and teasing; information regarding online safety and gang awareness will also be included. The event is sponsored by Brevard Public Schools, PREVENT! of Brevard, Inc., and the Melbourne Police Department.
