Endeavour Elementary Named a 2008 Florida School of Character

VIERA—Endeavour Elementary Magnet School has been named a 2008 Florida School of Character by The Golden Rule Foundation. This is the first time a school in Brevard has received this state distinction. Atlantis Elementary received the National School of Character Award in 1999.  Endeavour is a nominee for the 2008 National School of Character Award.

As a 2008 Florida School of Character and a state nominee to the National School of Character Awards process, Endeavour will be recognized at the Golden Rule Foundation Awards luncheon in May in Orlando. The event is presented by the Golden Rule Foundation in partnership with WFTV Channel 9 Family Connection.

“This award speaks volumes of the commitment of the Endeavour community to focus on high levels of achievement both academically and socially. We are very happy to have received this designation and will continue our efforts to promote and foster the Character Education Partnership’s (CEP) Character Education Quality Standards,” says Endeavour principal, Mecheall Giombetti.
