BPS Postpones Career Fairs

 

            VIERA—As part of Brevard Public Schools’ review of district activities and reductions related to budget projections, the district has decided to postpone both its annual support employee career fair and its district instructional career fair. The support employee fair was originally scheduled for June 7, and the instructional career fair was set for June 20.

            “Our plan this year for our instructional fair was to hold a critical shortage fair only,” said Superintendent Dr. Richard A. DiPatri. “Presently, we have more than 500 registered applicants in our database that we will share with our principals should they have a critical shortage area vacancy prior to August.”
