    Florida provides a variety of school choice options inclusive of scholarship programs. 
    These programs allow parents choice among public and private schools.

    The Family Empowerment Scholarship Program, for 
    low-incoming and middle-income families, provides the opportunity 
    for students to attend a participaitng private school.

    The Hope Scholarship Program, for students enrolled in a Florida
    public school in kindergarten through grade 12 who has been subjected
    to an incident of battery; harassment; hazing; bullying; kidnapping; physical
    attack; robbery; sexual offenses, harassment, assault, or battery; threat or
    intimidation; or fighting at school the opportunity to transfer to another
    public school with capacity or enroll in an approved private school.

    The McKay Scholarship Program, for students with disabilities,
    provides the opportunity for students to attend a participating
    private school or offers parents public school choice.

    The Opportunity Scholarship Program, offers students
    who attended or are assigned to attend a public school, that has a 
    perforemance grade category of "F" or three "D's" within the previous
    five years, the option to choose a higher performing public school.
