At MHS, gifted services are offered to students through individualized plans of study and seminar opportunities. Students are encouraged and guided to enroll in accelerated courses such as Honors, AP, IB, or Dual Enrollment. Gifted students also have several career-focused programs for those students who have interests beyond academic acceleration.

Gifted Seminars are held twice yearly. The Fall Seminar allows students to meet with his or her Gifted Coordinator in order to ensure that academic and interest-based needs are met through the current curriculum. The Spring Seminar features a guest speaker, activity, or open discussion for students during Power Hour.
