University Course Equivalents
The Florida Department of Education has established credit course equivalencies for AICE, AP and IB programs. The Statewide Articulation Manual provides a detailed description of all those agreements. The CREDIT-BY-EXAM EQUIVALENCIES report outlines the credit equivalencies that should be rewarded for successful completion of these exams.Cambridge is accepted by almost all of the top universities in the world. Other universities throughout the United States accept AICE credits. These universities' policies may be accessed on the Cambridge Assessment International Education Recognition Page. If a university does not currently accept AICE credits, CIE will contact that institution to discuss the policy. If this is the case, please give Mrs. Matthews the name of the university and your contact (if possible).Listed below are links to the individual "credit by examination" policies of several Florida universities:University of Florida Gainesville, FL AICE Credit PoliciesUniversity of Central Florida Orlando, FL AICE Credit PoliciesUniversity of South Florida Tampa, FL and St. Petersburg, FL AICE Credit PoliciesUniversity of North Florida Jacksonville, FL AICE Credit PoliciesFlorida International University Miami, FL AICE Credit PoliciesFlagler College (Private) St. Augustine, FL AICE Credit PoliciesPalm Beach State College Lake Worth, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Belle Glade AICE Credit PoliciesFlorida State University Tallahassee, FL AICE Credit PoliciesFlorida Atlantic University Boca Raton, FL Florida Atlantic University Honors College, Jupiter (Up to seven $20,000 four-year scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who are enrolled in AICE diploma programs.)
