Brevard Virtual has created a Sharing Center at Clearlake Educational Center (CEC) for families to borrow educational items that will enhance the learning experience of our students. Within the center, teachers and families will find hands on activities, instructional materials, educational games and books of all kinds at all grade levels. Teachers, parents and students are encouraged to browse the shelves and find items that meet your needs. Please enjoy using your borrowed items for a few weeks and then come back to CEC and exchange them for something new.

Nickname Added to Focus Request Form
Florida Statute 1000.71 provides the authority of the State Board of Education to adopt rules to implement statutes. In June 2023, the Florida State Board of Education approved changes to Rule 6A-1.0955 stating that districts will adopt policy and procedures to address “provisions for parents to specify the use of any deviation from their child’s legal name in school. School districts will develop a form to obtain parental consent along with any required documentation, as appropriate.” Parents/Guardians who would like to provide consent for the use of a name other than the legal name, who have not already submitted a form, may submit the form at any time to BrevardVirtual@brevardschools.org.

Microsoft Student Advantage 365
Brevard Public Schools is happy to announce the new Microsoft Student Advantage program. Because of the district's agreement with Microsoft, students are able to download and install Microsoft Office desktop applications AT NO COST.
