Ms. Ana Diaz - Principal
Ms. Ana Diaz began her teaching career in Queens, New York as a Kindergarten teacher, where she also taught Spanish to 6th grade students and adults. In 1994, she joined Brevard Public Schools as a 4th Grade teacher at Riviera Elementary. Ms. Diaz was a Title I teacher and Elementary Specialist before becoming Assistant Principal at IndiaAtlantic Elementary in 2000 and Principal at Turner Elementary in 2005. During her 15 years as teacher, she had an opportunity to mentor and train teachers at the school and district level in the areas of Writing, ESOL, and Glasser Quality Schools. In 2011, Ms.Diaz became part of the team that supported the leadership at the 29 school sites in South Brevard as the South area Coordinator. Most recently, she led the department that focuses on professional development for leadership development in Brevard Public Schools. She holds a specialist degree in Educational Leadership, a Masters in Bilingual/Bicultural Education and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Ms.Diaz has two adult children, who like her, love learning and serving others. In her first year at University Park Elementary, Ms.Diaz has rallied the community around the school. She reminds us that at University Park every student is respected, valued and loved. There's only one you on the great big world, make a splash and make it a better place!

Mrs. Sejal Shah - Assistant Principal
Mrs.Shah is the Assistant Principal of University Park Elementary. She has been at University Park for 14 years, 8 years as a classroom teacher and 6 years as the Instructional Coach and Title I Co-ordinator. She has lived in Florida for 22 years. She holds a degree in Educational Leadership from Nova South Eastern University. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family traveling to different parts of the world. She lives with her husband and has two children, a sophmore in college and a sophmore in high school. Mrs. Shah , feels fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful school community.
