    Brevard Public Schools is comprised of 84 schools, 10 specialty centers, and 15 charter schools. We have approximately 9,300 employees who are on a collective mission to serve every student with excellence as the standard. BPS has consistently been recognized as an A-rated school district. We are proud to provide numerous opportunities to our students through our choice schools, magnet schools, IB and Cambridge programs, as well as dual-enrollment options.

  • CAREER & TECHNICAL PROGRAMS

    CTE


    Today’s rigorous and relevant Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs prepare students for a wide range of high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand careers. CTE programs are offered in middle schools, high schools, and at the postsecondary level through dual enrollment. With over 40 CTE program offerings, including Culinary Arts, Web Development, and Dental Assisting, each CTE program offers students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and certifications.

    Achievement

    - 3 BPS schools were named 2021 National Blue Ribbon Schools (out of 12 total in Florida)
    - 64 schools earned state Five Star awards for volunteerism and community engagement
    - 25 schools were deemed state Schools of Excellence
    - 64% of BPS seniors went on to enroll in college and 39% of graduating seniors earned industry certifications in CTE/STEM courses

  •  COMMUNITY SUPPORT

     Community Support

    BPS is proud to have a large network of Partners in Education (PIE’s) providing support to our schools, students and faculty. This group includes local businesses, faith-based organizations and community groups. The Brevard Schools Foundation, ranked in the top 10 education foundations in the nation, has provided more than $50,000,000 in support to BPS since 1987. Additionally, the Supply Zone for Teachers offers free school supplies to teachers in high poverty schools.
