  • United Way of Brevard logo
United Way helps our neighbors meet basic needs and build an even better life for themselves. In the 2018-2019 school year, BPS staff raised $233,209 in donations to the United Way of Brevard, ranking #3 in the campaign. This summer, United Way is working hard to minimize the loss of learning that occurs during the summer by providing a Feed and Read program to provide nutritional food, mentoring, and free books to students during the summer. Students also have free access to thousands of digital books through myOn.

Keep Brevard Beautiful, Inc. and its network of volunteers and schools help improve the environment through litter control, recycling, and beautification programs. Students learn about responsible waste management through the Student Recycling Education Program. In addition to educating the community about preserving the environment, Keep Brevard Beautiful hosts cleanups along the coast to protect our parks, water, and the Indian River Lagoon.

    Children's Hunger Project logo

The Children’s Hunger Project provides weekend meals to underprivileged elementary school kids in order to ensure they have proper food and nutrition while they are not in school. The Children’s Hunger Project is continually looking for volunteers to help prep, pack, and deliver food. You can also support the project by attending dinners, carwashes, and other events to donate to the cause.
