I graduated from Grand Canyon University. I started out working at a charter school and then found my way here. This will be my third year at Dr. W. J. Creel and it is my second year in third grade.

My name is Heidi Whitney.  This is my 3^rd year at Dr. W.J. Creel Elementary.  This is my 16^th year as an educator.  I started my career in Florida and have also taught in Missouri, Georgia and Indiana.  I have taught EBD, 2^nd, 3^rd, 5^th 6^th and Elementary PE which is the position I have loved the most.   I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from The University of South Florida.   I also have certification in Physical Education K-12. I have a husband(Todd), three children(Kelli 25, Will 22 and Katie 15).   I also have three step-children(Shane 29, Kai 24 and Piper 20).  I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and watching sports, especially football. I am looking forward to another exciting year of growth and learning for all of us.
