My name is Elizabeth Rollins and I began teaching in 1991, and since 2003, I have been at Dr. W. J. Creel. I have taught music, art, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th grades and also taught English as a Second Language overseas. I graduated from the State University of New York, in Brockport with my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children with a concentration in music. I earned my Master’s degree in Education from The University of New England, Biddeford, ME while teaching in Cairo, Egypt, where I lived for about 20 years. I used to sing professionally while living there. My main man is Neal Rollins and we are in the process of building a new home with my parents! We hope it’s done by the end of this year. I have two adult children, and have recently become a grandmother of a baby girl, through my youngest son and his wife, and also an honorary grandmother of a baby boy, through Neal’s son and his wife. Both babies are adorable and wonderful! I love walking the beach and enjoy being outside. I also like to swim, play ping pong, (almost any sport with a paddle or racket is fun for me), go to the movies, and I enjoy playing the piano and singing. I am so excited to be teaching math this year and look forward to many math-filled years in the future!
