Hi! I'm Kelly Bishop. This is my 20th year teaching, my 3rd in ESE. I was a PE teacher for 5 years and I have also taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida. I have a husband (Doug) and we love to go on cruises and day trips to explore new places. I have 2 sons, Nathan is 19 and started college at EFSC this year. He is hoping to earn his HVAC technician certificate. Kyle is 16, and is a junior at Eau Gallie High School, he loves to run track. We also have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and glo-fish. Our black lab Katie is 10 years old, our Shih-tzu Lucy is 3 years old, and Kevay the cat is 7 years old. I am new to Creel this year, but it already feels like home. I can't wait to see what our Creel students accomplish this school year!

My name is Katie Furfey and I teach 3rd-6th grade Exceptional Education.  I have been a teacher at Dr. WJ Creel for 13 years and I love my job.  I received both my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and my Masters Degree in Intensive Special Needs from Northeastern University in Boston.  I am a diehard Red Sox fan! I am married and have 2 children. Brendan is a junior in high school and Megan is a Freshman in college. Before we moved to Florida, we lived in Northern Ireland for 10 years. I am blessed to teach here at Creel and I am excited to help our Eagles soar again this year!

Speech/Language Pathologist

Hello! I am Mrs. Gonnelly and I work with our Creel students that have Speech & Language needs. I got my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from UCF. You can find me in the 2nd Grade pod in building 2 and out in classrooms during the day. On the weekend I enjoy spending time with family. I had my first baby this year and have enjoyed every second of being a mom. I am happy to be back at work and cannot wait to meet all my students this year! 

ESE Support Specialist 

My name is Kristi Herold. This is my 12th year at Dr. W. J. Creel. Before stepping into the role of the ESE Support Specialist, I was in the Pre-K VE classroom, as well as a Guidance Counselor. I earned my Associates Degree from Brevard Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Central Florida. I went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education from Grand Canyon University.

My husband and I have been married for 7 years. We have 3 kiddos, ages 5, 4 and 2. We keep busy with baseball practices, dance lessons, music programs and attending our church’s Awana program.

I look forward to working alongside families to assist with the students’ progress at Dr. W. J. Creel.
