This year the school and district science fair will be done virtually. Students will still be expected and encouraged to do a hands-on project but students will submit a virtual project rather than the traditional tri-board projects.

The following websites will give you an overview on the scientific method as well as websites with ideas for fun and easy projects! If you need any assistance please email Nicole Kuiper, Science Coach, at kuiper.nicole@brevardschools.org
Please remember to read through the handbook as almost all questions can be answered by reading through. All projects are due to me via email by Friday, January 8, 20201.
Suggested Project Timeline
Day 1: Decide on the question. Record in the daily log the question and rationale for the question.
Day 2-3: Research information on the question. Record researched information in the daily log.
Day 4-?: Gather materials and complete science fair project. Record all materials, procedural steps, and results in the daily log. Make sure to take pictures!
Day 5: Make a virtual science board. Have a grownup check over to make sure spelling, grammar, etc. is correct. Make any necessary changes.
Day 6: Email virtual science board to Mrs. Kuiper at kuiper.nicole@brevardschools.org
