    Scholarships:

    Please visit our school website, under the guidance tab, to search and apply for scholarships through the Pirate’s Cove Scholarship Newsletter.  Deadlines are approaching fast – don’t miss out on free $!

     

    College Signing Day:

    On Monday, May 16, 2022 at approx. 10:45 AM in our stadium, Palm Bay Magnet HS will recognize all seniors that have been admitted to college, enlisted in the military or accepted to a trade school at a school wide assembly.  If you have been accepted to a college/university, enlisted in a military branch or been accepted to a trade school, bring in or email your letter of acceptance/admission to Mrs. Colona in the guidance office by May 6, 2022.

     

    Academic Awards Ceremony:

    If you find you are a recipient of a college scholarship based on academic or athletic merit, we would like to recognize you at our Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 16th in the Auditorium at 9am.  This ceremony will honor all senior academic and athletic scholarship recipients.  In order to obtain all the necessary information and include you in our celebration, we ask you to submit a copy of your scholarship award letter to Mrs. Colona in the guidance office no later than May 6, 2022.

    Noon to 3:30pm

    Please review the rules below - By signing up, you and your team members agree to all the rules for the Class of 2022 Field Day.

    • All Teams will have 8 to 12 senior members.
    • All teams will dress alike or in the same colors to identify their team (all attire will follow the BPS dress code).  Athletic shoes are recommended.   Be creative but appropriate!
    • All Teams will check in on May 16th at noon in the stadium. 
    • All participants are expected to show up on time and participate positively.
    • Just a reminder that we all like competition – but we all are participating to have a great time!

     

    FAFSA:

    The Office of Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA, provides grants that you never have to pay back, loans, and work-study funds for colleges or career schools.  FAFSA offers more than $150 billion each year to help millions of students pay for higher education.  The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is now available to seniors for the 2021-22 school year.  Families are encouraged to complete the online application regardless of their income.  Families will need their tax information to complete the application.  If you should need help filling out the application, chat with an online customer service representative on the FAFSA website or feel free to call Palm Bay Magnet High School.  Additionally, the FAFSA application must be completed in order to be awarded any scholarships from colleges.  To apply visit: www.fafsa.edu.gov
