Project SEARCH is a collaborative partnership between Health First, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Brevard Public Schools. Project SEARCH is a one-year nonpaid internship for students with disabilities, aged 18-22, who have deferred their high school diploma and are a client of Vocational Rehabilitation. The program is designed for interns and families who are committed to competitive employment after one year. Interns will participate in three work rotations throughout the year to explore a variety of career paths within the hospital setting. Site locations include Cape Canaveral Hospital, Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne, and Viera Hospital. Applications are available during the second semester of each school year.
