• Moore Legacy 8th Grade Field Trip

There are many ways to support the district's commitment to forever honoring the lives & legacy of The Moores.

One opportunity to support is by serving as a chaperone for the 8th Grade Field Trip to the Moore Memorial Park & Museum in Mims, FL.  These field trips began in January 2022 and will continue to be an educational opportunity for all 8th graders to experience.

Here are a few of the student's reflections from last school year:

"One of the best historical museums ever!"

"An incredibly fun and enjoyable field trip."

    "An interesting journey through history."

"The educational tour is great for all ages."

2 Steps to become a Chaperone:

    1. Register to become an approved volunteer with Brevard Schools.
Visit the District & School Security webpage for office hours, volunteer qualification guidelines, and the volunteer application.  New volunteer registration and fingerprinting fees are currently waived.

    2. Contact the school you are interested in serving as a Chaperone.

The 2023 field trip dates have been scheduled.  Simply contact the middle or junior high school(s) you are interested in supporting to identify the date and confirm approved volunteer status.  Chaperones are welcome to serve more than once.

Thank you for supporting our schools!
