Mr. Steven Skinner

I graduated from the University of West Florida with a Master's in Educational Leadership. I also hold a Master's in Music from the University of Leeds in England. My educational experience includes Music, Social Emotional Learning, ESE and discipline. I have been with BPS since 2015 but have been in education since 1998. My overall educational experience includes several years at the primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels.

My time in education has been fairly spread out due to my time touring with several bands as a professional musician. I have performed and recorded with musicians from some of the best bands in the world. Travelling throughout the United States and parts of Europe has been amazing. My time as an educator has been filled with some great moments which have led me to the present. I enjoy encouraging and supporting students to realize and act upon their potential in order to thrive academically and emotionally.

Outside of school, I enjoy performing with bands and spending time with my family and friends. I'm happy to be here at L.B. Johnson Middle School and look forward to supporting our staff and students!
