When will I see my first millage supplement payment?
Posted by:Eligible BPS employees will see their first millage supplement payment on their August 31, 2023 paycheck. These payments will continue for a total of 20 checks and will end for the 2023-2024 school year on the June 14th, 2024 paycheck.

How do I know how much millage I am eligible for?
Posted by:The amount of an employee's millage supplement will vary depending on their bargaining unit, years of service and benefits eligibility. Please click here to view the 2023-2024 Millage Supplement tables.

How do I know if I am in a benefits eligible position?
Posted by:Benefits eligible positions are regular employees working more than 25 hours per week.

Will the Millage Supplement increase my hourly rate?
Posted by:No, the millage supplement will not increase your hourly rate.

What will be my supplement amount after taxes?
Posted by:The millage supplement will be paid during normally scheduled payroll runs and will be subject to the individual's normal tax bracket. Therefore, the net amount of the supplement will vary from employee to employee.

Will I still receive the millage supplement while on an approved leave?
Posted by:No, the millage supplement will stop while you are in an unpaid status. Once you return from leave, your millage supplement will resume and you will receive a proated amount for the 2023-2024 school year.
Employees will continue to receive millage when on a paid leave.

If I started late or leave before the end of the year, will I receive the full Millage Supplement?
Posted by:No. If an employee starts late or leaves before the end of the school year, they will receive a prorated amount of the millage supplement based on their number of contract days.

Will my Millage Supplement increase if raises are approved by the Board?
Posted by:No, the millage supplement is not a part of an employee's annual salary, therefore it is unaffected by annual increases.
