    Regina Taylor---

DeLaura Middle School 7th Grade Counselor

Hello, I’m Mrs. Taylor. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I later moved to Hawaii and attended Radford High School in Honolulu. My family moved to Texas and I graduated from Randolph High School on Randolph AFB, Texas in San Antonio. Because of my family’s military background, I have lived and worked in various cities in the US and abroad. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University at Montgomery in 1990 and majored in Mass Communications. I earned my Masters of Arts degree in Middle Grades Education from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. I began my teaching career there in 1997. I’ve taught grades 2nd thru 8th, with a concentration in ELA, Social Science, Health and Science. In 2005 I earned my Education Specialist degree in School Counselling at Argosy University, Sarasota, FL and moved to North Carolina to begin my career serving students in the school counselling capacity. In 2008 I moved to Lihue, Hawaii and continued counselling students on the elementary level. In 2016 I moved to Indialantic and began counselling part-time at Jupiter Elementary in Brevard county. I’ve also worked at Brevard Virtual School helping kindergarten -12th graders achieve success in their virtual classes. Stone Magnet Middle School was my last school prior to DeLaura and I’m glad to begin my service here helping beachside students. During my leisure time I make every effort to swim, bike, work out, walk, go to the beach, and travel with my husband, Livingston. We have four adult children and nine grandchildren.
