"Supporting students as they transition to adult life with high expectations resulting in excellence for all."
Why BLAST, you ask?
BLAST is the largest and greatest opportunity for students to explore being an adult in this world of ours. In our BLAST program our students participate in daily activities that help them to make choices about how they will live their lives. Our students work together to create a fun and accepting learning environment.
Our students not only explore different types of jobs, but also different recreation events, household chores, social skills, interaction with community businesses, altruism, and continue on improve on their school based business.
Our students work hard to welcome everyone and create an environment conducive to learning and growth.

Through class discussions and role playing with our Speech Pathologist, our students are able to fine tune their communication and social skills. These skills will assist them in their transition into all phases of adulthood. Through real life experiences, our students are able to practice and refine these skills in both community and vocational settings. They are encouraged to apply and practice these skills both in and out of the classroom.
