    Sherri Bowman

    Director of Secondary Leading and Learning

    Sherri Bowman was employed by Brevard Public Schools in 1992 as a mathematics teacher at Eau Gallie High School.  As a mathematics instructor Ms. Bowman taught grades 9-12 in every math class from Applied Mathematics to Pre-Calculus at Eau Gallie High School and then at Merritt Island High School starting in 1998.

    Ms. Bowman’s administrative career includes serving as the Assistant Principal/ Dean at Melbourne High School for two years, the Assistant Principal for Curriculum at Kennedy Middle School, the Principal at Jefferson Middle School for seven years, and the Central Area Coordinator for three years.  She was appointed in her current position as Director of Secondary Leading and Learning on July 1, 2016.  Ms. Bowman was recognized as the State of Florida Assistant Principal of the Year in 2006 while serving as the Curriculum Assistant Principal at John F. Kennedy Middle School.

    Ms. Bowman received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Mathematics Education and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.


     

    Mollie Vega

    Director of Secondary Leading and Learning

    Mollie Vega is a Director of Secondary Leading and Learning.  She has served the Brevard Public Schools as a teacher at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School, dean at Southwest Middle School, assistant principal at Merritt Island High School and Stone Middle School, principal at Hoover Middle School and principal at Merritt Island High School.

    Ms. Vega received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Business, Math & Education) from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

     Ms. Vega is grateful for the opportunity to work with resource teachers, assistant principals, and principals in order to enhance student learning and success.

    Lena Wiebelt

    Lena Wiebelt

    Director of Secondary Leading and Learning

    Lena Wiebelt is a Director of Secondary Leading and Learning.  She has served the Brevard Public Schools since 1999.  Ms. Wiebelt has served as a teacher and guidance counselor at Bayside High School and Southwest Middle, dean at Satellite High School, assistant principal at Palm Bay High School, principal at Hoover Middle School and Bayside High School. 

    Ms. Wiebelt received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Dakota, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. 

    Ms. Wiebelt was appointed to her current position as Director of Secondary Leading and Learning in June of 2019.
