    Ms. Tubbs

Hello, my name is Ashley Tubbs and I’m the School Counselor here at Sabal Elementary. I’m originally from upstate New York but after endless debates, I FINALLY decided to make the move to Florida to be closer to family and friends. I’ve been welcomed to Sabal by all the staff, students, and families with open arms and I look forward to watching them transition through our school as well as meet new students to come.

A little bit about myself... I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. I’m currently pursuing another Master’s Degree and State Licensure in Marriage & Family Therapy. I believe our education is ongoing and I’m always seeking opportunities to learn new skills and perspectives that can network into the school setting as well as help families in our district. I look forward to my future as well as the future of all our students. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking, going to the beach, and walking my dog, Lacy.

Please don’t hesitate to email or call me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!

Greetings! My name is Matthew Wilson and I am the behavior specialist  at Sabal Elementary. I have been working with Sabal students since 2012. I have watched them grow academically, social emotionally, and ….well get really tall! We probably see that the most in Elementary school. I have a Master Degree from Webster University in Mental Health and School Counseling. My Bachelor is in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. My wife and I have been working in Brevard for 10+ years. We look forward to many more with our two children (currently 2 and 4). Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you need some support.

My name is Jasmine Gyant. I am a school-based mental health counselor with Lifetime Counseling Center and contracted social worker at Sabal Elementary. I have the pleasure of teaming up with the outstanding staff and guidance counselors at Sabal to support our Trailblazers through a variety of adversities. I received my master’s degree in counselor education with a concentration is mental health counseling from the University of South Florida and am working towards becoming a licensed mental health counselor.
