Dual Enrollment

  • --Dual Enrollment at Eastern Florida State College is for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.

    --Students in the 9th grade will be invited to start dual enrollment for 10th grade during their 9th grade spring semester if they meet the requirements via an invitation.

    --Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade should meet with their assigned counselor to see if they are eligible to begin. 

    --If a student would like to begin Dual Enrollment courses in a summer or fall semester, the contract and application steps must be completed by April 1st. If a student would like to begin Dual Enrollment courses during the spring semester, the contract and application steps must be completed by November 1st. (See documents below). 

    --Students that meet Dual Enrollment eligibility requirements are able to apply during the spring time of their junior year for Early Admissions Dual Enrollment to do during their senior year of high school, which is where they go full-time to Eastern Florida, and take no classes at Heritage or FLVS. Students may apply to do this even if they've never done dual enrollment before their senior year.
