About Our School
Sea Park Elementary School is located in the beautiful beachside community of South Patrick Shores in Satellite Beach, Florida. Sea Park opened its doors in April 1959. Our wonderful school has been a part of this community for over 60 years. Many of our students are second generation Sea Park students as their parents attended this small community school as well.
Sea Park has been an “A” rated school for over 15 years! We are very proud of the school’s achievements. Currently, we are one of the smallest public schools in Brevard County. With less than 400 students, Sea Park truly has a small community school atmosphere. The students, faculty, staff, and parents take great pride in our “little” school and consider it to be one of “The Best Kept Secrets on the Beach”.
Our school offers many great after school activities for our students. Students have the opportunity to participate in Chorus, Strings/Orchestra, Junior Apple Corps (a student volunteer club), Youth Leadership Team, National Elementary Honor Society, LEGO Robotics and Odyssey of the Mind, as well as the opportunity to become a School Safety Patrol member,. All our students can participate in Sea Park Growers Club, where they learn about healthy eating habits, learn ability gardening, and assist in beautifying our school grounds.
We also have a very active PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization). Each year we have our Fall Family Fun Night, ASE (After School Enrichment) events, a Winter Wonderland Dance for grades 3-6, Walk-a-thon, and many other fun events. The PTO collaborates with school personnel on a variety of projects that directly impacts the school community and student achievement. They have worked diligently to assist in adding some of the beautiful murals around the campus, purchased educational programs/materials, contributed to the school’s landscaping and beautification and much more.
Although Sea Park Elementary School is over 60 years old, we are determined to get better with age. Sea Park is the home of 2018-2019 Brevard County Principal of the Year, Ena Leiba. We are also the proud recipient of the 2016 and 2017 Florida Odyssey of the Mind 1st place winners in their division, and the 2017 Odyssey of The Mind World Champions. Our Sea Park “Stars” continue to shine in many ways across the community. Our teachers, parents, staff, and administrators continue to work to ensure a safe and respectful educational learning environment for all our students.
Sea Park Elementary school community is committed to providing quality education in a supportive, engaging and academic rich environment.
