National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an international student organization that consists of chapters in middle schools (grades 6-8). The NJHS was founded by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, and today has chapters throughout the United States and around the world. Being eligible for membership is considered an honor, and students who apply and are selected are part of a prestigious student group that emphasizes citizenship, leadership, scholarship, service, and character.
- 7th graders who qualify for membership are notified during 2nd semester. Eligibility is based on earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 1st semester of 7th grade.
- Applications are given to qualifying students in early spring; students must complete the application and submit it on time in order to be considered for membership.
- NJHS Applications for current 7th graders will be due on March, 3, 2023.
