Mrs. Gabriella Davey

My name is Gabriella Davey, formerly Miss Tomasura.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am in my final year at South Carolina University for my Master's in Speech Pathology. This is my fifth year at Meadowlane Intermediate.  I hope you and your child are just as happy as I am!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me! I can be reached Monday through Friday between 7:30-3:30. I want to be able to have open communication with you, and I want you to feel comfortable coming to me with any questions or concerns you might have. I feel it is very important for us to work together as a team, with your child, to achieve greatness!

I will periodically be sending home papers with your child. Some of these will include reports on the progress they are making, and what you can do to help. Others will be information on what we are working on, and worksheets they can work on at home. Please let me know if you need anything else from me!

Mrs. Jennifer Woodall

Welcome to a new school year! I am Jennifer Woodall, and I will be your child’s Speech-Language Pathologist at Meadowlane Intermediate this year.

I may be sending a speech/language folder home throughout the school year with your child to encourage additional practice, as appropriate. Practice at home will help your child progress in speech therapy. You may also find language-based activities (vocabulary, grammar, comprehension skills) to review. When homework comes home, please complete it and return the speech folder for our next scheduled therapy session.

In the folder you will find your child’s speech/language therapy days and times, my contact information, and a contact information sheet for you to fill out and return to me. You will also find your child’s sticker chart.

The sticker chart is a great motivational tool that I use to encourage good behavior in the speech/language room. To earn a sticker at the end of each session, students must follow the speech/language room rules and participate during speech and language sessions. When students earn ten stickers on their chart, they get to go to the treasure box. They work very hard to earn their stickers!

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns you have regarding the speech and language program. Thank you in advance for your support this school year, and I look forward to seeing you at your child’s annual IEP meeting!
