Senior Class of 2023
Cap and Gown orders have been dispersed. If you ordered them (back in the fall) but did NOT pick them up on March 27th or March 28th, please go to the Front Office and ask about your cap and gown. If you HAVE NOT order your cap and gown, ORDER today by calling Jostens at (321) 242-2055.
Universal's GRAD Bash is scheduled for April 22nd. - Please see Ms. Taylor in D-119 for any available seats.
This is a SENIORS ONLY event hosted by Universal. High school seniors from around the country attend this event. The bus leaves school at 5:30pm and returns back to MIHS at approximately 3am. The cost is $139 and includes the transportation and entrance into this special event. Individual cars and Universal passes are not accepted as per Universal policy.

This is an out-of-county field trip, therefore, a NOTARIZED Out-of-County field trip form must be filled out PRIOR to purchasing a ticket. These forms can be found in the front office or Ms. Taylor’s room, D-119. Please contact Ms. Taylor, Senior Class Sponsor for any questions.

Please read the following information concerning adding pictures to the Senior Class Video that is shown on Class Night on May 22nd.
It is time to send in pictures for the Senior Video which will be shown at Class Night the evening before graduation. We need pictures of you and your friends at school, during spirit week, at games, band/chorus concerts, competitions, hanging out, fishing/surfing/the beach, etc.
Pictures are needed from grades 9-12 only (no elementary/middle school pictures). Pictures must be school appropriate and should not have words on them from social media (Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) or have other filters. Also, send the original versions of the pictures—do not send screenshots.
Please limit your submission to 10 pictures or less per senior. Be advised that we may not use all the pictures that are submitted due to quality issues and video time constraints.

Closer to graduation, you will want to review the following activities. We have explained each event and the dates will be added as they become available.
CLASS NIGHT: (Typically the night before the graduation ceremony.)
Who should attend? Graduating class of 2023 and their families.
What is Class Night? An evening dedicated to honoring and celebrating seniors at MIHS. The Senior video is shown.
Where will Class Night be held? May 22nd
WHEN should seniors arrive and WHAT should they be wearing? Seniors should arrive at 6:00pm WEARING their Cap and Gown. Seniors will line up in F-Wing and proceed into auditorium as a group while “Pomp and Circumstance” is played. Seniors will be seated in the Orchestra section throughout Class Night. Family members will be in the audience.
Class Night will be approximately an hour long and refreshments and photo opportunities are available immediately following in the decorated Commons.
This evening is considered the beginning of graduation celebrations! GRADUATION BREAKFAST - TBD - typically the day of the graduation ceremony.
Seniors should arrive at 9am for the senior breakfast catered with Chik Fil A, fresh fruit, oversized muffins, cookies, and drinks!
MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE is immediately following breakfast. Seniors will be given instructions on when to arrive, what to wear under their robes, and appropriate shoes. (Very high heels are not recommended as it is a LONG walk from the cafeteria, down the road, and onto the field. Due to the artificial turf, spiked heels are not allowed.)
