    The National Honor Society chapter of Viera High School is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. Membership is open to those students who meet the required standards in four areas of evaluation: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

    VHS chapter of National Honor Society is open to rising Juniors and Seniors who maintain a cumulative unweighted 3.5 GPA or better, and who do not have serious disciplinary issues. Eligible students are notified in writing that they may apply to NHS in the Spring of each school year. One Induction Ceremony is held per year.

     

  • NHS Service Hours:

    30 Service Hours for the 2022-2023 school year (see bylaws).

    Only 15 hours can be accumulated over the summer.
