    Meetings: Wednesday, After school

  • Future Problem Solving stimulates critical and creative thinking skills and encourages students to develop a vision for the future. Students work in teams of four during two-hour competitions to tackle a Future Scene problem, using a six-step problem solving process. Students research general information about the topic, specific challenges or problems relating to the topic, and some ideas of possible solutions to these challenges. As these scenes are set in the future, students need to think futuristically. FPS competitions are held at the District, State and International levels. For more information, visit www.flfpsp.org

Meetings are held Wednesdays after school in the Media Center from 3:30-4:30pm.
