The R.L.S. Leadership Team:
Tiffiny Fleeger, Principal,
Mrs. Fleeger has 20+ years in the field of education. She arrived in Brevard County in 2004 where her Brevard journey began at Southwest Middle School as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher. She then returned to the elementary school setting and worked at Longleaf Elementary school as an Exceptional Education Teacher and later a Sixth Grade Teacher. Her six year career as an Assistant Principal was at Holland Elementary School where she focused her passion on increasing enrichment opportunities for all students. Mrs. Fleeger also has a strong interest in technology and how it can affect learning in the classroom when integrated into instruction. Mrs. Fleeger is dedicated to excellence, community, and the growth of all individuals.
Cindy Vanderpool, Assistant Principal,
has been in education for the past 28 years as a former reading coach and general education teacher. "At Stevenson, we want our students to dig deep into finding evidence from what they read that broadens their thinking about many topics."
Angela Schoon, Instructional Coach,
has been serving students in the classroom for 20 years. "As a teacher leader, I work with teachers to provide best practives that will make a difference in instruction and learning."
Zaida Silva, Guidance Counselor,
helps students with social and emotional learning through the integration of restorative practices. "Helping teachers to develop intervention steps that carefully examins the growth and progress of students through individualized learning paths can bring positive change in a child's schooling."
Stacey O'Connor, Media Specialist,
brings embedded technological practices in the classroom as we develop "blended learning experiences" that integrates learning using an array of digital tools. "Providing training and instruction to both students and teachers bring new and novel experiences - the very skills that will transfer to the world of work."
