    Who we are:

    Jenny Carter M.A. SLP
    I graduated in 2006 from the University of Central Florida with a master’s degree in Communicative Disorders. This will be my 9th year serving students in Brevard County. I have had the pleasure of working at Roy Allen Elementary for the past 6 years. I look forward to working with the students and to a great school year!

    Andrea Mize, M.A.-SLP
    I grew up here in Melbourne, and received my master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida in 2007.  I then returned to Melbourne and have been serving Brevard Public Schools ever since.  I enjoy seeing my students improve their communication skills, and am excited to begin a new school year!

    What we do:
    A speech-language pathologist (SLP) assists students in communication.  Students working on their speech skills may focus on articulation, fluency, or voice.  Language students work to improve their communication in any or all of the following areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening

    News: 

    Hearing and Vision Screening
    Roy Allen Elementary will hold our annual mass hearing and vision screenings on August 29th.  Students in kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 6th grade will be screened.
