Hoco Fest 2021:
Date: Saturday, October 23, 2021.
What is it: Viera High School’s SGA will be hosting an alternative to our traditional Homecoming Dance as we are not allowed to have a Dance at the moment.
Admissions: $15 (October 4th - October 15); $20 (October 18 - October 22).
On Saturday, October 23, 2021, Viera High SGA will be hosting an alternative to our traditional Dance called Hoco Fest. The event will be from 7-11 p.m. and at the Viera High School football stadium. Hoco Fest is exclusively for Viera High students, and there will be food trucks, games, inflatable bounce houses, and a spooky movie on the field the second half of the night. Make sure to bring your own towel or chair to sit on for the movie, which will be announced soon! Tickets can be purchased starting Monday, October 4th for $15. They will be on sale Monday through Friday in the cafeteria during each lunch. Tickets will increase to $20 during Homecoming Week (October 18-October 22). We are having multiple food trucks be a part of the night and food tickets will be available for purchase during the event. Students will need to sign a liability waiver in order to attend the event, and it is posted on the Viera High website under SGA in Clubs and Activities.
Homecoming Kickoff Event:
Date: Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
What is it: Come join us for our first annual Homecoming Golf Cart Parade followed by a student Powder Puff Game. Come cheer on your fellow hawks as they showcase their decked out golf carts in our theme for this year, Fall/Halloween, and enjoy the battle of the century in the powder puff game.
Admissions: Donations accepted at the gate for admissions.
Golf Cart Parade Participants:
Our theme for this year will be Fall/Halloween. Go all out in decorating your golf carts. Prizes will be awarded to top carts. Download your Golf Cart Parade registration here (coming soon), or pick it up from the cafeteria during all lunches. The registration fee is $10 to decorate your own golf cart. Registration and fees are due by Monday, October 18, 2021 in the Viera High School front office. Participant check in is at 5:15 p.m.
Powder Puff Game Participants:
There will be a meeting this Friday, October 1st, right after school in the Media Center for anyone interested in participating in the Powder Puff game.
