Parent's must complete the application process and provide proof of residency. The $30 application fee is waived for students zoned for Madison.
Students must submit an essay stating, "Why STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) is important to them." The student must include information about their career goals and future educational plans.
The essay must be at least 150 words hand-written or typed. Simply upload the essay to the Family Dashboard or drop off the essay at Madison's front office, attention Mrs. Howard, Director of Innov8 STEAM Academy
This is a co-hort model that provides real-world, project-based learning allowing students to work closely with their teachers and peers to achieve academic success.
Innov8 STEAM Academy will not replace an elective.
Innov8 STEAM Academy complements our AVID program in preparing students for college and will instill innovative thinking to prepare our students for jobs that have not been invented yet.
