Welcome Holland’s New AP, Mrs. Cirino!
Dear Holland Families,
My name is Stacy Cirino, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Holland Elementary. I have served Brevard Public Schools (BPS) since 2005. I have had the opportunity to work in many educational capacities for BPS over the past 18 years, which were all at Jupiter Elementary. I taught grades 5-6, served as Title 1 Math Interventionist in grades 3-6, as Math Coach, Teacher on Assignment, and Title 1 Coordinator.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree from Walden University in Educational Leadership, K-12.
I am also a veteran of the United States Army, and worked in law enforcement for six years, which were all in a correctional institution setting. Two of those years, were in an adult correctional facility and four years in a youthful offender correctional facility, which ultimately drove my decision in returning to school and earning my degree in education.
I have been married for almost 25 years and have two amazing daughters. My husband is a Deputy with Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. My oldest daughter lives in Orlando and is a Licensed Health Care Advisor, and my youngest daughter is in her first year of college at Charleston Southern University where she plays Division 1 Soccer.
My goal is to assist Mrs. Alison and the Holland faculty and staff to help all students develop skills, concepts, attitudes and values, which enable them to be successful members of society. This includes providing a safe and nurturing educational learning environment that challenges our students to reach beyond their academic expectations and to become life-long learners. Communication is key between school and home and I look forward to working alongside you in this school-home partnership.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Cirino
Assistant Principal
