SUMMER READING CHALLENGE!

Reading is the key to learning!       

We want to close gaps and reduce summer slide by encouraging our students to read this summer! Once again, we are teaming up with United Way to promote reading!  Every student who completes this challenge and turns in the completed postcard will get an ice cream from United Way in the fall.  Forms must be turned in by August 18, 2023. K-2 grade need to read at least ten books.  3^rd – 6^th graders need to read at least eight chapter books.  If your 1^st – 2^nd grade child would like to read chapter books, only eight will be required.  In addition to ice cream, we will have a drawing for some amazing additional prizes.  Have fun this summer and keep reading, Holland Hornets!
