1st Place Law Day Essay Winner

Hoover Civics student, Shelby Maynor, won first place in the Law Day 2020 Middle School Essay Contest.  This was a county-wide contest sponsored by the Brevard County Bar Association. Students had the choice of creating a poster, website or writing an essay.  The topic was celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the 19^th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.  Shelby is flanked in this photo by her Civics teacher, Ms. Collins, and her English Language Arts teacher, Ms. Oates.
