In mid-March of 2020, Brevard Public Schools, along with every school district in the state of Florida, quickly transitioned to emergency distance learning due to a state-mandated COVID-19 quarantine.  What was thought to be a temporary situation lasted through the end of the school year and caused the cancelation of end-of-year senior events and celebrations and delayed graduation ceremonies until well into the summer.
