West Shore Jr/Sr's SRO named Officer of the Month

Melbourne, FL - West Shore Jr/Sr High School's School Resource Officer (SRO), Valerie Butler, was named Officer of the Month by the Melbourne Police Department.

 

West Shore Principal, Rick Fleming, said, "When she is not busy during the year keeping our kids and campus safe, our amazing School Resource Officer, Valerie Butler, is helping in our community through her direct involvement with the Police Athletic League. She certainly is a Wildcat Superstar!"

 

Sergeant Ben Slover of the Melbourne Police Department awarded Officer Butler this honor for her commitment to serving underprivileged youth in the Brevard community.
