2023 ABC Awards Honorees

The annual ABC (Applauding Brevard’s Champions) Awards Ceremony and Dinner was held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the Radisson at the Port in Cape Canaveral.

During the celebration, BPS announced our annual award winners from various categories including: Administrators of the Year, Volunteers of the Year, Employee of the Year (EOY), and the Teacher of the Year (TOY). Two additional categories included Rookie Teacher of the Year (first year teachers) and Emerging Teacher of the Year (second year teachers).

Congratulations to our Rookie Teacher of the Year Winners: Jana Doss, Ralph Williams Elementary; Megan Hutera, Herbert Hoover Middle School; and Brook Davis, Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr, and congratulations to our Emerging Teacher of the Year Winners: Sharona Franklin, Stone Magnet Middle; Melanie Richardson, West Shore Jr/Sr; and Ashe-Leigh Wells, West Melbourne School for Science.
