Heart to Heart: Get to Know Superintendent Rendell

Viera, FL -- Dr. Mark Rendell took the Superintendent's Oath of Office on May 30th during the school board meeting.

During the ceremony, Dr. Rendell said it will take teamwork to move forward, and that he is dedicated to Brevard students and their families.

Dr. Rendell has been the principal of Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School since 2019.

Before coming to Cocoa Beach, Dr. Rendell was the superintendent of Indian River County Schools. In Brevard County, he has also been a principal at Titusville High and an assistant principal at Melbourne High, Eau Gallie High, and Cocoa High.

Dr. Rendell officially began his new role on June 1st.
