All new teachers at BVS participate in V2B2, our teacher support program.  Its purpose is to prepare and properly equip new teachers for our virtual program.  The V2B2 program helps new teachers smoothly transition from a brick-and-mortar learning environment to a virtual learning environment, while also shaping the mindset to meet all virtual student needs.  Both novice and veteran teachers new to BVS will participate in V2B2 and will be provided a mentor so they may feel supported and welcomed at Brevard Virtual School. We are aware our processes are unlike any other program and it is unfamiliar territory.  We hope that the induction program builds a positive teacher community with like philosophies, consistent practices, and ensures professional growth in a technology-driven platform.
