Microsoft OneDrive & Google Takeout Directions

As we near the close of school, students may wish to make a copy of their Google Learn or Share G Suite documents and OneDrive files. This is especially true for graduating 6th graders transitioning from a Google Learn account to the Google Share account for their secondary years. Graduating high school seniors will need to extract any files they want from Google or Microsoft to keep because these students will not have access to those files after they transition out of BPS.

Students should not save these files on Brevard Schools computer hard drives as they will not have access to those after they leave. They can either save to a personal computer or a personal external hard drive/thumb drive.

Please notify these groups of students to take action prior to the last student day with the link to the directions below. You may want to ask your teachers to include this info in their Google Classrooms or on other distance learning platforms. This information will also be posted on each student’s Focus portal.
