Kindergarten students became learning detectives as they solved The Case of the Pumpkin Patch. Math, Science, and Language Arts were seamlessly woven into a hands-on learning experience.
Students counted the ribs on a pumpkin, estimated the amount of seeds, counted the actual number of seeds, measured the height of the pumpkin in cubes. Measured the circumference of the pumpkin with yard and cubes, labeled pumpkin parts and learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin.
All that ooey gooey fun equated to a day of learning they will never forget.
