Selection Process

National Honor Society members are 10th and 11th graders who have been enrolled at Titusville High for at least one semester. The following steps are followed for the evaluation process:

  1. In January, after Term 1 grades are posted, students who have achieved a weighted GPA of 3.8 or higher are listed and become eligible for membership.

  1. The list is then sent to the grade-level administrators. Students who have had a referral resulting in suspension during the current school year become ineligible and are removed from the list.

  1. All students remaining on the list are notified of their eligibility and given the opportunity to complete the necessary requirements for admission into the National Honor Society.

  1. Those students who complete the admission process and submit the required forms and fees by the published deadline are inducted into National Honor Society.
