Parent Teacher Conferences
Reminder that Parent/Teacher Conference Night will be held this Thursday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. To schedule an appointment with a teacher, please contact Leslie or Kristin in Guidance by phone at 321-242-4741 or by email at: Kellner.firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.The last day to schedule an appointment is this Wednesday at 3:00 PM.
The West Shore PTA and Guidance Department request your presence at the 2020 Junior Symposium to be held on Tuesday, February 25th in the Auditorium from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Prior to the event, counselors will be available from 6:00 PM– 6:30 PM to answer any questions regarding senior course selection, transcripts, and graduation requirements. This is a yearly event that is organized to help better prepare you for your upcoming college application process. You will have an opportunity to learn valuable information from the Ivy League, State University System, Private University and State College perspectives. In addition to these speakers, we will have a Question and Answer session with current West Shore Seniors.
Juniors and Seniors who wish to bring a non-West Shore student to Prom must complete a guest request form and submit to Miss Halbuer no later than 3:45 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Tickets for Prom will be going on sale when we return from Spring Break so do not delay in getting your guest forms in as this is a hard deadline. Remember you need to buy your guest ticket at the same time as you purchase your ticket. Guest forms are available on our school web page and Peachjar.
Seniors if you would like to be part of your graduation ceremony you may try-out for the graduation speech, performing the class song and/or singing the National Anthem. Try-out intent forms are available on our school webpage and Peachjar. Audition forms must be turned in to Miss Halbuer no later than 3:45 PM on March 25, 2020. Try-out for speeches will be held at 3:45 PM on March 31, 2020 in Ms. Ladd’s room. Try-outs for the class song and National Anthem will be held on April 1, 2020 in the band room beginning at 3:45 PM.
