Project Graduation

There will be a Project Graduation meeting tonight, February 8th, in the media center at 6pm.  Parents of students from all grades are welcome to attend.  Come to find out what Project Graduation is all about.  Please follow all CDC recommended guidelines to attend.

High School Students-FL Youth Survey

Randomly selected high school classes have been chosen to participate in the FL Youth Survey. The teachers of the classes that were selected will be distributing Parental Permission Forms to their 3rd period students beginning this week. Your child can opt out of the survey or skip any question they do not wish to answer. To learn more about the survey please visit our webpage and click on the Parent link.

Attention All 2021-2022 First Time Dual Enrollment Students

If you plan on taking a Dual Enrollment course for the first time this summer or next year, and you have not yet taken the SAT or ACT, we will be administering the PERT test on campus on Tuesday, March 9th from 1:45 PM-3:45 PM in the Media Center. Students must register NO LATER THAN Monday, March 1st. See your guidance counselor for more information.

Spring Semester Open House

This Thursday, our teachers will post videos to their FOCUS websites and/or Google Classrooms. These videos will welcome you and your child to the class and detail important information about the teacher’s policies, procedures, and expectations. Please join your student in this Virtual Open House opportunity.  After viewing the videos, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher.

A Couple of Reminders from Guidance

  • Just over half of our Seniors have completed their Bright Futures applications.  Please have your Senior follow the directions that have been sent out and see their counselor if they need any help.
  • The SAT will be administered at West Shore to all Juniors on Wednesday, March 3rd.  There is no need to sign up.  Contact Mr. Drake with questions.

 

Course Selections for next year

Course selection presentations are ready for you to view on the Guidance page of the West Shore website.  It is imperative that you view the presentation for the grade you will be in for the 2021-2022 school year. 

Juniors only-

If you are a JUNIOR brick and mortar student, please see Mrs. Filler in guidance for your Junior Packet as it contains important information for your senior year course selection. 

 If you are a JUNIOR e-learner, please call guidance at 321-242-4741 when you are in the front parking lot and someone will bring your packet out to you.
