Message for Week of August 10, 2021

Welcome back Wildcats! We hope everyone had a great first day.

Early Release

Early release Fridays begin THIS Friday and continue for the rest of the year.

Cheerleading

Cheer tryouts will be August 17 and 18th in the auditorium from 3:30-5:30. Please email Ms. Hoskins to get more information. As you must have your paperwork in prior to attending tryouts.

Student Government

High School

Anyone interested in High School Student Government please attend an informational meeting in Ms. Hoskins' room 3-202 on Thursday August 12th during Power Hour lunch A. 

Middle School

Anyone interested in Middle School Student Government please attend an informational meeting in Mr. Bramlett's room 3-200 Thursday August 12th during Power Hour lunch A.

Open House

Please join us on August 19^th from 6 pm until 8:30 pm for Open House. Families will meet in the gym at 6:00 pm for a brief presentation and will then move through their student’s schedule to meet all their wonderful teachers. Parents of Gifted students will meet with Ms. Reis at 5:30 in the media center for some important information before proceeding to the gym at 6:00. See you then.

The back track lot will be open for parking. We need your help by asking you to not park at the courthouse. Mr. Fleming received numerous complaints about having cars park in the court house lot. So please utilize the track lot if the other lots are full.

Parent Meetings

PTA

West Shore’s FIRST PTA meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, August 24^th at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium.  Remember, you will receive one volunteer hour for attending!  So mark your calendars now!  

Senior Parents

There will be a Senior Parent meeting on Thursday August 26^th starting at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. We will be reviewing everything you need to know about the upcoming senior year including the college application process, financial aid and various senior activities.
