These assessments are for information only and will not affect course grades.
Students in grades 7 & 8 who would like to run for office in the Middle School Student Government Association, can pick up a qualifying packet from Mrs. Scott in room 4-201 next Monday, August 29th. Packets are due back no later than 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 31st.
Student pictures for grades 7 through 11 will be this Friday during your child’s English class. Please contact Mrs. Capron, our yearbook sponsor, with any questions.
Important message from Officer Butler
Please remember that gates for dismissal cannot be opened until 3:30 PM and that arriving early causes traffic to back up. This creates unnecessary congestion on the roadways and has led to several vehicle crashes in the area. Also, please be sure to follow the predetermined traffic patterns for the pick-up loop you are utilizing, and these are cell phone free zones.
The meeting will be for all Thespian Club parents on Wednesday, August 24th, at 6:30pm in the auditorium.
There will be a Senior Parents meeting on Thursday August 25th, starting at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. We will be reviewing everything you need to know about the upcoming senior year including the college application process, scholarships, the senior project, and various senior activities.
West Shore’s FIRST PTA meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, August 30th, at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium. Mr. Fleming will be speaking and providing insight on how your child can be successful at West Shore. Remember, you will receive one volunteer hour for attending! Mark your calendars now!
Project Graduation will have its first meeting next Monday night, August 29th, in the media center at 6pm. Parents of all grade levels are welcome to attend and all those in attendance will receive 1 volunteer hour. Please come see how you can be a part of your school.
