Message for the week of August 29, 2022
High school students wishing to apply to the National Honor Society who are in grades 10-12 can join the google classroom using code rkrmnmu. There they can download and complete an application to be turned in to Mrs. Matoska by September 2nd, she is in 4-102.
Students in grades 7 & 8 who would like to run for office in the Middle School Student Government Association can pick up a qualifying packet from Mrs. Scott in room 4-201 starting today. Packets are due back no later than 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 31st.
Important message from Officer Butler
This is a reminder for students that parking tags should be displayed in vehicles when parking on campus. Display your tag and avoid getting a parking ticket!!!
High school students wishing to bring a non-West Shore student to the Homecoming Dance on September 24th will need to submit a guest approval form. Guest approval forms will be available on our website starting August 31st through September 12th. Guest approval forms are due by 3:30 PM on September 12th. Late forms will not be accepted. The cost of Homecoming will be $25 and tickets will go on sale Monday, September 19th during Power Hour.
Project Graduation will have its first meeting next Monday night, August 29th, in the media center at 6pm. Parents of all grade levels are welcome to attend and all those in attendance will receive 1 volunteer hour. Please come see how you can be a part of your school.
PTA General Meeting
West Shore’s FIRST PTA meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, August 30th, at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. Mr. Fleming will be speaking and providing insight on how your child can be successful at West Shore. Remember, you will receive one volunteer hour for attending!
